After many years of scientific research (Department of Food Technology at Technological Educational Institution of Larissa & Department of Food Technology at Technological Educational Institution of Athens) found that adding a few olive leaves before the final packaging Lelia Kalamata olives, increases significantly the main natural antioxidants that olive already has. The increase of content in the final product Lelia, from a natural source (olive leaves) and the packing without salt water, making it nutritionally superior quality and biological value. The final package does NOT contain olive leaves
